Lawrence's novella about two young women - sickly, chattering Jill Banford and quiet, strong Ellen March - who are trying, hopelessly, to run a chicken farm in Canada. A gentle but powerful man named Paul Renfield who used to live on their farm returns and puts things in order. But his proposal of marriage to Ellen awakens the homosexuality dormant in the girls: Jill uses her weakness to make Ellen feel protective, and the women become active lovers.
The male fox is a plot. This film is adapted from the novel of the same name of D.H. Lawrence, a famous British writer D.H. Lawrence.Two homosexual women were happy on the isolated country farm. Later, a wandering seafarer broke into their lives. The relationship between the two women had to be adjusted again. One of them was the object of competition for both men and women.The film describes women's homosexual psychology with a bold manner. Among them, there are also naked shots and sexual symbols.
