剧情梗概：群英会是一部戏曲片，东汉末年，群雄并起。经过连年征伐和兼并，魏蜀吴三国鼎立，此消彼长。为对抗强大的曹魏政权，孙刘两家联合，诸葛亮（马连良 饰）与水军都督周瑜（叶盛兰 饰）在夏口共同抵御曹军的进攻。为探听两家联军虚实，曹操（裘盛戎 饰）派出谋士蒋干（萧长华 饰）以故交身份探访周瑜，伺机劝其投降。聪敏过人的周公瑾当下知晓来者之意，遂摆下文武群英会，令太史慈监酒，使蒋干无从置喙。席间周瑜假装大醉，事先造好曹营水军头领蔡瑁、张允的降书，纵容蒋干盗信逃归，终是疑心颇重的曹操诛斩水军大将…… 本片根据京剧三国戏中的经典戏码改编。一句话评论：缔造最后的传奇。我看到了蒋干。短评放不下。群英会：京剧怎么表现人物。三版《群英会》。
