Partition is a drama about the split between India and Pakistan in 1947, and India gained independence from British control. Surrounding this incident, an excellent, serious and passionate play was produced. Based on Sasdat Hassan Manto's famous short story about division, McCullen focuses on a minor player in history - the exchange of patients between mental hospitals in India and Pakistan: Muslims were sent to Pakistan, Hindus and Skhs were sent to India. . The film is based on two places: a mental hospital located on the national border and the conference room of the leaders of the two countries. The characters in these two spaces, political figures and patients in the mental hospital, are played by the same actors, just like the characters in the mental hospital. The incident reflects the actions of those in power. Solemn terminology and transcendent conception complete the composition of this film. The credits are an overview of India's acting talent.
