A nature documentary about the life cycle of flamingos, filmed at Lake Natron in northern Tanzania. In a remote and forgotten wilderness lies one of nature's last great masterpieces: millions of red-winged flamingos spreading their wings and going through life's journey of birth, growth and death. There are too many majestic images in the film that have never been recorded by the camera before, and it records how this group of rare and endangered creatures struggle for survival. ◎Trails "Disneynature" proudly presents the first set of large-scale ecological documentaries, which will take you into a mysterious place that humans have rarely set foot in. Through fierce and magnificent images and a moving soundtrack, the mystery of the life experience of African flamingos is revealed. The documentary was filmed at Lake Natron in Tanzania, a lake on the border between northern Tanzania and Kenya, 113 kilometers northwest of Arusha in the Great Rift Valley. The lake is 56 kilometers long and 24 kilometers wide. There are mineral deposits such as salt, soda and magnesite. The lake's warm waters make it an ideal breeding ground for Rift Valley flamingos. There are 4 million flamingos living in Lake Natron and its surrounding waters. In the Great Rift Valley in northern Tanzania, Africa, there are different volcanoes and lakes. Among them, Lipton Lake has become an ideal breeding place for flamingos because of its unique geological environment. The feathers of flamingos will turn bright red only during the breeding period. In order to give birth to the next generation, they have gone through hardships and migrated thousands of miles, endlessly, forming a blueprint of life that shocks the soul. Due to environmental pollution and mass hunting in recent years, the number of flamingo birds is on the verge of extinction. Disney's "Sky Wings" has left precious video records for flamingo birds to arouse concern. In order to shoot the film, the filmmakers lived on the shores of Lake Natron for 14 months. This is one of the most amazing groups in the animal kingdom. The saltiness of Lake Natron in northern Tanzania is higher than that of the Dead Sea, but there are a large number of flamingos gathered around this lake, and the number is beyond people's imagination. Their nesting grounds are so remote and inhospitable that it wasn't until 1959 that a European ornithologist discovered the gas-filled habitat. The rose-coloured flamingo is one of the least known of the six census bird species, making it the most colorful, magical and remarkably beautiful of the flock.
