剧情梗概：天罚是一部片，海南省新一代公安刑警雷鸣，王磊，夏丽莎还有李刚，在他们的刑侦工作中，遇到了危害社会安全的刑事案件。连环杀人犯屡屡在雨夜作案，目无王法，手段残忍，我们的天罚小组队员从犯罪现场侦查到，犯罪分子很有可能就是前租客的屋主，紧急在老街部署抓捕行动，才发现其实两个案件虽然有相似处但是又不能证据确凿的指控这个嫌疑人。难道凶手还在逍遥法外？特案组只能通过引蛇出洞的方法，想主动出击，可惜嫌疑人反侦查能力很高，避开雨夜作案时间。这让小组成员无不苦恼，恰巧有目击证人证实一丝线索，雷鸣等人抓住机会，先捕后放，尾随其后，终于在嫌疑人另一处藏身地抓获犯人，并找到藏尸处，案子才水落石出。一句话评论：天罚。
