剧情梗概：
高级督察陈国明（吴镇宇饰）与莫心怡（朱菌饰）是一对恩爱的新婚夫妇，二人在返家途中遇上械劫案。陈国明下车协助追捕，而心怡不幸中弹昏迷入院。数个月后心怡终于醒进来，医生高川（张家辉饰）叮嘱心怡，要特别小心身体，因她血型十分罕有。国明因公务繁多，只好留心怡独自在家中休养。心怡因前额中枪，脑部受过震荡，常产生一些幻觉，令她胆战心惊。一次，心怡购物时幻像显现一年轻女星被杀，当她半信半疑走向酒吧区某后巷，真的被她发现巷中有具尸体，心怡完全吓到魂飞魄散……心怡被送往医院精神科观罕，高川向国明查询心怡病情为何日渐严重，国明自责不已，无以对答。此时，另一宗杀人案件又发生，国明只好赶至案发现场。一名律师被杀，国明发现此案与上一女星被杀案件有关。当警员在尸体旁作进一步调查时，律师尸体突然发出叫声，众人即把律师送上救护车。国明留在现场继续调查，良久，国明收到医院致电，律师大量失血，需要一些罕见的血型，而心怡的血型正与律师血型相符，希望国明能带心怡救助，此际，国明即赶往医院找心怡……当国明到达医院时，发现心怡不见了，到底是怎么一回事呢？此刻的国明万念俱灰……
