剧情梗概：
时值战国时代的天正二年。在名为春日的小国中有一位无敌快的武士，他叫井尻又兵卫，外号"鬼之井尻材"，在战场上癣所向披靡，无人不惧。又兵卫和美貌的春日国公主廉姬是青梅竹马，但由于身份之差，两人一直将爱意隐埋于心底。在一场厮杀中，敌方的火枪手趁又兵卫不备，打出了致命的一枪。危机时刻，一个少年突然出现，弹开了子弹，又兵卫奇迹般地保住了性命。这个名叫川上真一的少年来自未来。又兵卫带着他来到春日城。真一见到廉姬后大吃一惊，廉姬和他在梦见过多次的女子长得一模一样。廉姬命又兵卫照顾真一，又兵卫起初并不愿意，但与真一相处之后，渐渐向这个直率的少年敞开了心扉。某天，北关东大名大仓井高虎来到春日城求娶美貌的廉姬。弱小的春日国若能与大国联姻就能在战国乱世得以自保。廉姬虽不情愿，但还是答应了婚事。又兵卫也默默地接受命运。真一失踪后，其父晓四处寻找，他在一棵大树下发现了一封残旧的信，上面是真一的字迹，写着"我现在到了天正二年的世界。"晓和妻子美佐子带着一大堆行李来到树下穿越时空，一家人成功在战国时代重逢，谁料却没法回到现代。三人来到春日城，受到了康网的热情接待。晓向康网说了很多现代的事情。得知未来春日国和大国都将不在后，康网改变心意，回绝了廉姬政治联姻。高虎大怒，率大军压境。又兵卫挺身迎击。面对即将奔赴沙场的又兵卫，廉姬第一次说出了自己的心意："如果你活着回来，我会自由地生活，和你一起。"最终有情人能否终成眷属？真一一家又能否回到现代？
