二十一世纪初的上海是一切时尚的总和，却兼具现代与怀旧并俱之美，外滩沿黄埔江那５２栋跨世纪经典建筑和对岸浦东与天争高的摩天大楼，多少的繁华旧梦就残存在这一江之隔的欲望城市中。 百乐门舞厅外车水马龙，盛况空前，似乎达官显宦、豪客阔佬都齐聚一堂，大班江尼早已急的冲出来恭迎兆丽，直嚷着所有人都在等她，兆丽不急不缓的迎向上海白领菁英的代表郭世宏，四十出头的郭世宏天生的绅士外表，几乎能找到所有象征品位、格调、浪漫的形容词，由他伴着百乐门最红的舞小姐金兆丽，一起登上楼走进舞厅，里面的场面更是惊人，一排百乐门当家舞女，全都一对对就位。一切都像倒片似重演回到了一九四八年 一眼看去，最出色的任黛黛更像众星拱月似已一脸挑衅的在等待金兆丽，副市长公布舞蹈比赛正式开始，兆丽与郭世宏在节奏热烈的探戈舞曲下，从容的滑进舞池，所有参加的舞小姐及舞伴纷纷下海，任黛黛肢体狂野放浪形骸，吴喜奎则魅态百露浑身解数，极力争取台上数名裁判，还包括一名外国老师的青睐，只有兆丽和郭世宏就像在宫廷中翩翩起舞般，两人舞姿就是那么典雅，尤其兆丽艳冠群芳有如皇后般的气势令人折服。一场视觉盛宴即将拉开.
