剧情梗概：
叶颖文（郑裕玲饰）是一位精明强干闻名业内的大律师，方伟（万梓良饰）则是检察院的高级督查，两人虽然身为情侣，却因为事业上的对立而常常产生矛盾。摄影师田迪文（林俊贤饰）被控告强奸罪，对罪行矢口否认的他找来了叶颖文替自己辩护。方伟十分不满叶颖文的善恶不分，但叶颖文坚信，在事件尚未查明之时，所有人都是无辜的。受害者是一位名叫凌祖儿（王祖贤饰）的美丽模特，她的精神已经被案件逼迫到了崩溃的边缘。珊珊（刘美君饰）是凌祖儿的妹妹，替姐姐打抱不平的珊珊设下诡计，想逼田迪文就范获取罪证，没想到聪明反被聪明误。案件的终审即将开始，在这个节骨眼上，叶颖文发现了足以推翻之前一切结论的重要证据。
